Pre-Existing Conditions

Dirt, hard water stains, oxidation, and window films can mask existing scratches, chips, or cracks. The company is not liable for pre-existing damage revealed after the removal of surface accumulation.

Fabricating Debris & Tempered Glass

Tempered glass can possess manufacturing defects known as "fabricating debris" (microscopic particles fused to the surface). Scraping this glass to remove standard residential debris (paint overspray, bird droppings, tape) can dislodge these particles and cause scratching. The Customer releases the company from any liability for scratches caused by fabricating debris.

Pure Water & Water-Fed Pole Systems

For exterior cleaning, we utilize pure water-fed pole systems. This process naturally uncovers pre-existing window frame oxidation, loose UV-damaged seals, or dry-rotted rubber gaskets, which can temporarily bleed a milky residue or water onto the glass or siding. The company is not liable for frame bleeding, water intrusion through compromised seals, or staining from pre-existing structural degradation during operations.

Hard Water Stain & Calcium Removal

Hard water restoration involves specialized acid-based or abrasive cleaners. Glass suffering from long-term mineral etching may remain permanently hazy, pitted, or stained even after treatment. The company does not guarantee 100% removal and is not liable for degradation caused by pre-existing buildup.

Screen and Frame Degradation

Sun-damaged, brittle, or weathered window screens, tracks, and vinyl/aluminum frames can crack or tear during standard removal and cleaning. While maximum care is taken, the company is not responsible for the structural failure of sun-baked materials.

Property Access & Requirements

The Customer agrees to provide unobstructed access to all exterior windows, including unlocking gates, moving outdoor furniture, securing pets, and clearing paths. If technicians are locked out or blocked from accessing windows, a $50.00 trip fee will apply, or the skipped windows will still be billed at the full estimated rate.

Payment Policy

All payments are due on the same day services are completed. A 3-day grace period is provided, after which a $30.00 late fee will be applied to all outstanding balances.

Limitation of Liability & Pre-Existing Conditions (Solar)

• System Defects: See True Windows LLC ("Company") is not liable for pre-existing system damage. This includes micro-cracks in photovoltaic glass, loose wiring, oxidized frames, or degraded seals.
• Component Failures: The pure-water cleaning process does not cause internal inverter faults, grounding failures, or electrical shorts. Company holds no responsibility for these mechanical or electrical issues.
• Roof Integrity: Client warrants that the roof and mounting structures are structurally sound. Company is not liable for leaks, structural sagging, or cracked tiles on aged, brittle, or improperly installed roofing materials.
• Visual Inspection Only: Technicians perform a basic visual check before cleaning. They do not conduct electrical, mechanical, or thermal diagnostic testing.

Cleaning Methodology & Manufacturer Compliance (Solar)

• Equipment Used: Company uses professional soft-bristle brushes and purified, deionized water. High pressure and harsh chemical detergents are never used.
• Manufacturer Compliance: Pure-water cleaning satisfies standard manufacturer maintenance specifications. Company does not guarantee specific third-party warranty continuation.
• Efficiency Disclaimer: Cleaning removes environmental shading like pollen, dust, and bird droppings. Company does not guarantee a specific percentage increase or financial return in solar power production.

• Service Promise: Company guarantees a streak-free, professional clean using advanced pure-water technology to maximize solar absorption.
• Reporting Window: Client must inspect the work and notify Company of any specific cleanliness concerns within 24 hours of service completion.
• Remedy: Company will return to re-clean any unsatisfactory panel areas free of charge. No monetary refunds, partial discounts, or structural credits apply after this 24-hour window passes.

Weather & Rain Policy (Solar)

• Operation Limits: Solar panels cannot be safely or effectively cleaned during active lightning, severe high winds, or heavy Florida tropical downpours.
• Company Rescheduling: Company reserves the right to postpone and reschedule appointments to ensure technician safety and avoid smearing wet environmental debris.
• Rain Defiance: Pure-water cleaning leaves zero soap residue on the panels. Normal light rain immediately following service will not affect the clean finish, cause spots, or degrade panel performance.

Hard Water Stains & Bird Netting Criteria (Solar)

• Hard Water Staining (Calcium Scaling): Standard pure-water cleaning removes dirt, dust, and organic debris. It will not remove heavy, white calcium scale or mineral etching caused by active lawn sprinklers hitting the panels. Advanced restoration for hard water stains is a separate, specialized chemical process and requires a certified solar panel technician for its removal to be manufacturer warranty compliant.
• Critter Guards & Bird Netting: If bird netting or critter guards are installed, Company is not liable for minor detachment required to safely clear hidden debris underneath. If netting is severely degraded, fragile, or broken prior to arrival, Company reserves the right to skip cleaning adjacent areas to prevent panel or roof damage, and will notify the client immediately.

Client Site Responsibilities (Solar)

• Water & Power Access: Client must provide a functional, unobstructed exterior water spigot with standard municipal water pressure. Inverter panels must remain physically accessible.
• System Shutdown: Client is solely responsible for safely powering down the solar array prior to service if required by their specific solar installer or equipment manufacturer guidelines.
• Clear Work Zone: Client must secure all pets and clear pathways, gates, and driveways of obstacles, fragile patio furniture, vehicles, and debris before technicians arrive.

Before & After Media Authorization

• Right to Document: Client grants Company permission to take photographs and/or video recordings of the property, roof condition, and solar array before, during, and after services are performed.
• Purpose of Media: These visual records are used primarily for quality control, verifying pre-existing damage, and proving service completion.
• Marketing Use: Client agrees that Company may use anonymized before-and-after imagery for digital marketing, social media, or promotional materials. Company guarantees that no private personal data, street addresses, or security vulnerabilities will be revealed in any published media.
